My 2015 Makeup

It's been a while since I really did a full make up. Here to my first full make up at Party Of The Century...

Super red lips from Guerlain Rouge G L'extrait
Such a makeup is a rare sight and only during special occassion. I prefer a nude/natural look for my daily makeup. Started off with the most basic would be the base and foundation. I've always skip makeup base because I'm lazy but it really does help to keep the makeup to last throughout the day. And I used foundation to cover my uneven skin tone. My current base and foundation - RMK Makeup Base & Guerlain Lingerie de Peau

And my makeup powder to set my oily face - Guerlain Meteorites Perles. I used the Meteorites Perles Illuminating Powder when I'm home for it's super light texture.

And Meteorites Compact when I'm travelling.

My one and only makeup need is forever the eyeliner. I can skip even the base but if I ever wanted a qu…

My Beauty Regime

I have always emphasized that skincare is always more important for lasting beauty regime instead of makeup. So, here's my recent beauty regime. Some are new to my regime as it comes from the beauty box received during the Butterfly Project Christmas Dinner.

Daily products
Cleanser: Garnier Sakura White Gentle Cleansing Foam(from beauty box)
This is the first time I used cleansing foam from Garnier as I've always been using Simple and a mixture of other products on and off. I still prefer something light especially since this is a whitening product, my skin feels that it requires more moisture after washing my face.

Toner: Guerlain Super AquaLotion(RM163 price as of 2013)
For extra moisture because of my combination skin, I use Guerlain Super Aqua Lotion. It's more gel like in nature and thus I only use a minimal amount for a total moisture but for area that is oily, I only do a quick sweep. Never ever use this at the eye area as it will give you oil seed. T…

Glamorous 1920 Party Of The Century

First grandiose party of the year - The Party Of The Century by Empire City was just last Friday. It's such a grand event, very Oscar like. This is my first ever party that's totally like those we see in the movies.

The main red carpet entrance...
With pretty cars line up at the grand entrance
The second entrance where the special shutter drops the rest of the attendees
Classic ride
Everyone was dressed to the nines

So Great Gatsby style

And to me, the main highlight of the event is meeting my favourite TVB star - Him Law, Sharon Chan & Eliza Sum. They literally were walking next to me.

Eliza Sum and Him Law
They were just a few steps away but since they were ushered by bodyguards, I can't stop them for a quick photo. The photo taken of Sharon Chan was blur so here's a photo credit to her instead:

That night event started off with performance by 2AM

All the way from Korea
Then, we have performance based on the 5 pillars of Empire City. From Design, Music
to Art

Shizens Lip Tattoo Review

It's been a long time since I do a beauty related post. So first beauty post of 2015 and hopefully I'll be more consistent with beauty post since it's not my core strength.

Received Shizen Lips Tattoo in the beauty box received during The Butterfly Project's Christmas Party less than a month back.

This is the first product from the box that I've tried since it captures my attention. I was curious why is it called a tattoo.

Surprisingly Shizens Lip Tattoo's content is white in colour.

Shizens Lip Tattoo is said to add a spread of moisture and relieves the formation of fine lines. It helps to lighten dark pigmented lips and gradually turn them into natural pink or rosy tones.

I must say that the statement is true as after application, my lips turn into rosy pink.

From left: No application, 1 layer of Shizens Lip Tattoo & 2 layers of Shizens Lip Tattoo.

I don't usually apply lip product and I feel that 1 layer is much more neutral. 2 layers is actually v…

BMon Cafe

With the trend of #cafehopkl, what's the latest cafe you have visited? I've been visiting a lot of cafes over November and December as I need a place to study for my exam. Why cafes? Because being a part time student and also self studying, a lot of self discipline is required. Being home is too comfy and I start slacking and get distracted too easily - going online, sleeping, cooking, eating, cleaning, reading other books...

It's not easy to find one cafe that provides a good ambiance for studying especially when it gets too noisy, yellow lighting or dark. Here to #throwback to the last cafe I visited back in 2014 which I find it to be a nice, condusive place for studying and work too (not during lunch hour as the crowd is noisy). And best of all, student enjoys 10% off.

A group having discussion and studying there.
Amongst the midst of preparing for exam which falls on 30 December, I managed to head over to Bmon Cafe with a few foodies. Bmon is a character …
