Instameet Penang Georgetown Festival

Last weekend was a great short getaway with the crew from @igersmalaysia and met some new friends. 2 cars, 8 people (some newly met) on a road trip down to Penang.

We went on a Saturday while the instameet is supposed to happen on the next day. What's Penang without savouring the good food there? Our first stop - Pasar Awam Ayer Hitam...

It's not as good as it used to be.
Next stop nearby is – Bukit Bendera, Penang Hill. It’s very scenic and a good place for photography. RM8 per ride up the tram (for Malaysian) and a cut throat RM30 for foreigners. I guess it applies in every country.

Lunch was at Wheeler's Cafe at Love Lane that's a bicycle theme cafe.

My sis ordered only the mille crepe and drinks.

The hot chocolate and mocha is awesome. The mille crepe is average only. It’s lacking behind in terms of its taste.

Krabi Getaway - Day 2 & 3

Here's a continuation of my Krabi trip. Day 2 is half day island hopping and the night was to Krabi town night market.

Sis and me got up early for breakie but The Small breakfast area was full that we were brought to Krabi La Playa Hotel for our breakie.

My simple breakier there but I can't get use to the food. Out of all the things that I've picked, the egg is the only nice one.
Our pick up for island hopping was at 8.30am so we still have some time to explore around and we decided to just walk around the hotel area. One thing I've to say is that I've never seen any petrol station at Krabi. They have a kiosk like the pic below:
